This happens to me just about every year
My clothes don't fit got too much shit so I grab a beer
And I sift through all of my belongings
And I really try to minimize my extra things
I've gotten used to living out of small containers
My guitar case, backseat car space, the hotel refrigerator
All those awful movies that I've never seen
Knick knacks, party favors seem superfluous to me

All this furniture is going soon
I have to vacate by this Tuesday and there is no room
In my car for all the boxes and my souvenirs
Those precious few things still reminding me of my time here
I think I'll have to find some new stuff when I get
